Roading at Chamberlin Place Farm. See fixture directions for instructions on how to get there.
***North Rd is currently closed between 107 and our parking field. You may follow the detour signs, but the official detour route is narrow for trailers. For easier trailer driving, continue on 107 to route 12. Turn left onto Route 12 and go 6 miles to Silver Lake in Barnard and turn left onto North Rd. The hay field where we will be parking is 3 miles up on the left AFTER Gills rd and BEFORE Stackpole Rd.
Pot luck breakfast to follow; please bring food and drink to share if you're staying for the pot luck.
Roading is a group ride with the hounds and not a hunt - we go out on a prescribed route at controlled paces. This is a great opportunity to introduce a new horse to fox hunting or use it as extra experience for horses who need more miles. We welcome all riders: English, Western, Endurance, whatever makes you happy. You don't need any specialized tack or outfits to ride with us and we'd love to have you join us.
